He's so proud of his accomplishments!!!

"Honor your father and your mother." Exodus 20:12

To honor means to value, to appreciate, to love and to respect. Sometimes children do what their parents tell them, but they have a bad attitude.  That is not real obedience. Children should obey with a respectful and graceful attitude ad they can only do that by God's grace.  Asking God for grace to help you honor your parents even when they discipline you is really hard. In fact, it is impossible. But God gives us power to do what we cannot do on our own strength.

It's a.....

So it's been a little over a month and a half since I last updated this and as I have said in the past life tends to get in the way when your house is full of little ones :)
We recently had our 20week ultrasound to check on our little one and everything checked out! Our little one looked great and even revealed to us it's gender!!
We decided to throw a party to share the news with Dan's family and had what is called a "Gender Reveal Party"  It was a lot of fun and everyone was so excited to share with us the news of what our little one is :)  Check out my awesome cake that a friend made!!

Here are a few pictures from our cake reveal :)

Do you see that??  See the color of the cake??  That is what our little one is...

It's a GIRL
Here are the ultrasound photos to prove it!!!
We have decided to name our new little girl EMMA LOU HARRISON, Emma Lou means "all consuming warrior" in German. The kids are so excited to meet their new baby sister, and we are thrilled that she is healthy and doing great!!  Thanks for all the prayers!!

Joy

Joshua is usually VERY camera shy, especially when he KNOWS the camera is on him but the other day at the park he was carefree and full of such joy and laughter that I was literally laughing like crazy at how silly and happy he was. He actually ASKED me to take his pictures :) Miss Shelley may be slightly jealous of the giggles and smiles I got...check it out!!

Laughter
Pure joy
This is his "cheese face"
What??
Silly Face
I love this kid!!
And Joshua's "I'm mad" face
Isn't he just too cute? I love that he allowed me to capture so many pictures of his many faces and silly expressions! I love this kid!! I just can't believe he is already 4 years old!

Joshua Turns 4

Joshua has waited for this birthday more than any other one so far. Last summer we watched his cousins play tee ball and baseball and Joshua was SO intrigued. We told him that he had to be 4 years old before he could play and he just couldn't wait for March to roll around. We heard about teeball and baseball all winter-it was so sweet!! I can't believe how big he's gotten.

Last November, when Madelynn turned 2, Joshua picked his birthday party theme and has NEVER changed his mind. He stuck with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and the party turned out great!! Here are a few of the decorations:

Joshua was able to celebrate with cake and ice cream,

lots of family, and presents

...what better way to spend your birthday??

Oh and no birthday party would be complete without a little tea :)

Thanks to all who came out to celebrate and for all of you sharing in our celebration through this blog :)

I just can't resist a change to get snuggles :)
