C is for Caterpillar

Letter C starts some of Joshua's favorite things like carrots and cats, candy and chocolate! It also starts the word caterpillar, the subject of this week. Joshua has done AMAZING, yet again, with how quickly he is learning and how fast he catches on. He's totally a little sponge!! Check out what letter C week looked like!

DAY 1:
Joshua colored his "C is for Caterpillar" page

Worked on lacing around his CATERPILLAR in the shape of a C
And he worked on tracing letter Cc too!
DAY 2
We practiced writing letter Cs (Joshua does these backwards and I love it!!)
We also worked on some pre-writing pages to help with creating the letter Cc shape
Do-a-dot pages
How many CATERPILLARS are on the left?? Joshua had to count out the number of caterpillars that corresponded with the number I placed at the top of the page...he has gotten SO good at counting!
Moo took a turn too!

And lastly we worked on sorting different sizes of caterpillars...large, medium, small

DAY 3
We used bears and cubes to trace the letter Cc on pages. Moo LOVES this activity!
Next we worked on patterns...what comes next?Moving on to out Letter Hunt...circling all the letter Cc's in the paragraph.
Cutting practice

And finally disk matching...finding the corresponding letters to spell out the word caterpillar, both lowercase and capital.

DAY 4
We worked on 3 things...2 of which were art projects! Joshua made caterpillars using pom poms and cotton balls...

Next we worked on our letter C collage where Joshua glued CANDY CORN onto his letter C, Moo also joined in on this one
And lastly, we worked on writing our letter Cs again...still backwards :)

So there you have it, our letter C week in review!!
